And that’s the problem, ask 10 different people and you’ll get 10 different answers. It comes down to what works best for you. But the bottom line is that they are all excellent pedals.
You may find that this works. EMAD’s come with 2 rings, a thick and a thin one. Most people I see using EMAD’s are using the thin ring, so I can’t for the life of me think why Remo only supply a thick ring with the SMT heads.
I own a 5.5 RC, it's a wonderful drum in both build quality and sound. However, as Chris says above, there are a number of other options that are also worth a look at.
I’m guessing that it depends how severe the tremor is, I’ve had an essential tremor in my right hand for many years now, I’ve never even thought about it in terms of my drumming. I’m a photographer by trade and it does affect that side of things.

I've played a lot of aluminium snares from different manufacturers over the years, to my ears they all sound similar (not the same), but they all have that same dry sound, sharp and metallic when tuned high. dry and woody when tuned low.
Does anyone know when the True Hoops were introduced on DW kits?
I've just purchased a second hand kit, it has VLT shells, the current badges, labels on the inside of the shells but no date stamp. My older DW kit has the date stamped inside the shells.
