Meinl Turbso slap Cajon, real world experience?

Hi, So I am considering buy a Meinl Turbo Slcap cajon beginning of next month, and all the reviews I see on youtube are positive and do recommend it. But then there is this negative review on Long & Mcqaude...

I'm not sure, but I just know that using the wrench that they came with I cannot turn them anymore, no matter how much strength I use.

So, I decided that bongos would be cool especially since I often find myself "drumming" on my thighs and body when bored. So I bought this set: https://www.long-mcquade.com/products/22329/ At $89.99 Canadian I thought these would be decent, but it turns out they suck. Yes, they are technically...

Will this work? Trying to mount cowbell onto bongos.

So I am still rather new to the drum world, and I just bought these: https://www.long-mcquade.com/products/22329/ I also bought a 6 inch cowbell. I would like to mount the cowbell directly to the bongos, I am looking at this...

Just in case anyone is wondering, I have decided to hold off on the purchase of an actual drum for now, and am just practicing with the pad for now. When I feel like a drum would be of more use to me, I will buy one then.

Lol, thank you. I am going to post a before and after, because once you see what it looked like before, you'll understand why I wanted to clean it up. I got everything clean now, or as clean as it'll get at least. All that's left is the screws, which I have soaking inside a plastic bottle...

So, I got that Remo practice pad in just now, and yes it was a little dirty, luckily the screws were very easy to remove,, and after that it came apart into two three pieces. (top, the head, and the bottom) I have the top and the head soaking in some soapy water now to loosen up the dirt and...

I got a response,, from the seller, they can hold the steel pearl drum until the 30th, so that's good.

I've been using a mouse pad for the time being, and it works fine technically. Only there's a little annoying thing that it likes to move, so every now and then I need to fix that, when it moves to far out of place. I've already found out how I like to hold sticks - Match grip, American. Works...

Ah, I have some old mousepads laying around somewhere, that could be a good temporary solution. Thanks.

So, I went to the local store today as planned. The practice pad's they had were only a large expensive $77 dollar pad (too much for me) or a crappy $20 pad of rubber that I just didn't want. I will probably end up just buying the used Remo Pad, and eventually replacing the head down the line...

There's a local guy on Facebook Market place, selling a Remo practice pad for $20CAD, which may be a good idea for me considering a new one from a popular music retailer in my province costs $43. Only issue is, it is rather dirty and grimey looking. I contacted the guy asking if that dirt and...

Ok, so for a slight update: I should be able to get out to a "local" music store tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to pick up a pair of sticks or 2, and a practice pad. I am continuing to do a research for possible lessons if do-able in my area. For right now, I am still looking to take the...

I think I'll invest in a practice pad as well.

I see that stick wise, the general consensus online seem to be to get 5A sticks first, and then later get different ones if needed.
