I got a double bass drum pedal yesterday and set it up. I am ok using it but I want to know more than just doing left,right,left,right with the pedals.

When I play my toms, the snare rings and it sounds horrible. I think it is because 1. I only have 1 head on each tom 2. On the snare bridge one of the wire thingies broke so I took it out How could I fix this?

I think I want to start a band with 1 of my friends and my brother (he plays bass). But I have no idea where to play and how to even get them in a band in the first place. Any Ideas???

Would it make sense to make a kit (buy the parts shells, lugs, etc. and put it together) Or to buy one? I take apart my drums alot (and I find I need new lugs...) to see how they work and to know the names of the parts, so I think it would actually be really fun. Should I???

I'm 95% sure I'm getting a good quality Double Bass Drum Pedal. So, what this entitles to is I'm going to go all out and buy a custom head, and get the case restored, and repair 2 lugs. So, I want to know the best quality Double Bass Drum Patch or, even, a Double Bass Drum Head. -Peace

I was loosening the screws on my floor tom to tune it, but one, only one, of the screws won't come out because the grooves where they stay in place are, well, gone. I need help getting it out so I can replace the grooves that keep it in place. Please explain how I can fix this.
