Got the old refurb’d Rogers back up and running with new heads, and the new badges. She’s ready to work now: 9x13/16x16/14x24. Floor tom got new Pearl brackets and legs, and the bass drum got DW spurs. Also replaced the old T-handles with regular tension rods and the hoops are 1.75” wide...

I never thought I’d outgrow them - maybe it was the times people would ask for a Police song, then I’d lose the audience in the process. So I had to blame somebody 😉 But Copeland himself is such a funny and likeable guy. I read his biography and what an interesting life he’s had.

Are you replacing any of the parts? What do you need to know to clean it up and replace heads and wires?

I use (the cheapest) Ultimate Ears UE5’s. You’ll have to get fitted but totally worth it.

There’s a seller on eBay that had a few of them brand new. So despite the cost I thought I’d make the kit look awesome 😉

Mine too. I’ve had it since 1996! That was when they were grey with red handles! They look so cool today.

You sure about that price?

I’ve been using my Rock n Roller R12 since 1996! I’m considering an upgrade to that big cart made by Gator that has the pneumatic tires both front and back (having to roll through gravel and dirt at a local winery taught me this lesson just recently).
