    What would be more beneficial for practicing and what do you guys use? Buy an ekit or just get an old beater set and put silent stroke heads on it and get zildjian l80 which I do have an old cb kit I can use.

    Has anyone tried the Tama S.L.P bubinga snares or own one? With the bubinga wood does it give you more of a deeper dry sound or can these Snare have a wide range of tuning. I've always been a maple guy but these guys look interesting as I've tried the 7x13 g maple and that thing sounds sweet.

    I have a tama rockstar with a 10" rack tom and 14" floor tom. On my 10" rack tom can I Tune it to sound as a 12" tom to sound close to my floor tom or do I tune my floor tom a little higher?
