I second the Tama Iron Cobra stand. It’s as stable as any three legged I’ve played and folds up for packing much easier than other brands. No drum key needed to set it up or tear it down.

I don’t know why BD hoops don’t have a standard depth. I would think pedal manufactures would like it standardized so that their pedals fit the same on all brands of drums. I don’t like it when a pedal beater has to go way past the top of the arc to hit the head.
