Ok, so...
I've been working on this track off and on for a long time. I've always been happy to "just" play my part in a band, never aspiring to be a songwriter or composer, but this one just won't let go of my brain.
So I guess it's time to try to finish it. I will probably send it off to be properly mixed once I'm happy with all the parts, but here it is in its fairly raw form.
I guess the genre might best be described as "ambient dream pop".
All instruments played and/or programmed by me. I appreciate every listen, and welcome any feedback.
The track is inspired by a Midnight Mass monologue about what happens as we die, and I named it "Dream To End All Dreams"
