Your favorite album of 2009!!

Kiss Sonic Boom. Paul Stanley's vocals are more powerful than ever.

Benny greb, brass band, you un-cultured swines,

check it oot on the auld u-tube.

I don't really follow new releases as much as I used to, so though I've discovered a few really great albums this year, most of them aren't from the 2009. The one that I listened to the most (it's in constant rotation for at least six months now is

Hacride - Lazarus

There's a few other releases that could've taken the spot (by Minsk, Clutch, Between the Buried and Me, Crib45), but they haven't yet had enough play time.

My fave this year was The Dead Weather - Horehound

Sounds like real drums & real instruments played by real people.

Jack White's parts get to the meat of the songs and he doesn't over do anything.

He comes up with some cool stuff I think.

I really dig The Racontures (Patrick Keeler) last album too, but that was last year :)

Kiss' Sonic Boom was a nice surprise this year too.

Mine favorite album of 2009 are: Middle Cyclone, Dance Mother, Grey Britain, Truelove's Gutter, Walking On A Dream, Only Revolutions, Alight Of Night, King Of Jeans, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, The First Days Of Spring, Ignore The Ignorant and My Maudlin Career.

For me it would be between the following:

Them Crooked Vultures: Them Crooked Vultures
Rudder: Matorning
Soulive: Up Here
Robert Glasper: Double Booked
Mos Def: The Ecstatic
Five Peace Band: Five Peace Band Live
Casey Driessen: Oog

I'm such an indecisive @$$hole...
