So far I really like it, as did my brother who has several very nice snares and is probably a better judge of them. I do wish that I had been able to get the 6.5" depth as I do like the depth of body they can impart to your sound. The dual adjustment for the wires is a nice feature that with time I expect I will become fond of.How do you like that snare drum? I have a Tour Custom set, but not the matching snare.
I've never even gotten to try one out yet.
Hey thanks Rick. I thing it's 14x7 week with you , David and I.Gorgeous snare Todd
And just as important (I moved the drums to their real spot in the basement and the stereo got the best seat in the house. You need to appreciate music to make music right?

For the audiophiles around here who like gear the integrated amp is a lovely and very well designed NAD M3, the DAC is a Gustard X16. The speakers are Monitor Audio PL200 with two SVS SB2000 Pro subs. The M3 has a preamp section with hardware crossover to limit the PL200s so that they do not see anything lower than 40Hz while also sending the full signal to the subs which of course have their own crossover and built in DSP to handle everything below 80Hz.
No, I moved away from physical media ripping all of my CD collection to Flac or Apple Lossless files and typically I stream via Bluetooth from my phone using bit perfect using Onkyo HF Player Pro software on my Android phone (LG G8x). Bluetooth is now so good that it is indistinguishable in blind listening, level matched, multiple trial testing. People who think they can hear a difference have either: listened to older, poorly implemented Bluetooth devices, or they have done sighted listening tests which are absolutely meaningless and should be scoffed at with conviction.Ahhh yes. Nice to see that there are still audiophiles out there in a world of soundbars and airpods.
Do you have an SACD of DVD Audio player? Some of my best audio memories were playing the SACD version of Kind of Blue and feeling what it was like being the studio. Man - I can't believe that format died.
