That looks like their regular recipe- I like extra crispy.
I remember the first Chick-Filet A Dwarfhouse in Hapeville Ga. I'd go there to get a hot brown-hot dang makes me want one. The real chicken gurus know how to fry up tasty gizzards and livers too-so you generally don't find those in chains.

Same here. crunchy is king!

Never been a gizzards guy tho...
It just never was something I could get behind.
 
If you don't cook gizzards right they are tough and nasty-but done right delicious. I've never tried waterfowl gizzards but wanted too. I'm generally not a liver lover but I make an exception with chicken livers.
