I actually had Premier as a thought. Don't know much about then though. What series for example? Genista is the only one I can think of.

This is a nice kit. Half the toms are concert toms, so you get 12, 13, 16 two headed and 12, 13, 16 concert.

That’s technically under $500, which is the original poster’s price point. It’s tough to see condition from those pics, but it could be a real steal.

It's in decent shape. I was just there (Guitar Center, Pasadena) today. If I bought it, I'd sell off the concert toms. Recoup some of the cost.

Vintage Pearl. I got a 70's Wood Fiberglass for $350. If you're willing to look past Ludwig and Gretsch there's stuff out there that sounds great for cheap.

I wonder when the quality on the MIJ stencil kits got really good.
