Had this horrible thing for 3 years now & have never got anything like a decent sound out of it. Constantly mis-triggers & is generally crap in every way.
Anyone else here have anything good to say about this miserable "kit" ?

Quite possibly have. There HAS to be something half decent about it somewhere? I just currently use it as a practice kit without sound. BTW, It's the mesh version.

- Kick tower holds a door open adequately when positioned correctly
- Mesh pads + tennis ball = fun family game (handles not included)
- Cymbal pads can be pressed into service as pasta bowls (WARNING: *not* microwave safe)
- hi-hat pedal can be rewired to trigger secret trap door in front of your desk
- output cords can be strung together and used as a hammock
- DM10 module can be spraypainted black and used as chest piece in homemade Darth Vader costume (Halloween's coming up)
