Double Pedal Double Strokes: 1,407
Single Pedal (One Foot): 650

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada's, 5’ 10" Tim Waterson has proven to have the World’s Fastest Feet as he has held his record longer than any other WFD champ. You might say that Tim has the record for the longest held WFD record! Tim has held his World Record of 1,030 Bass Drum Single Stroke's in 60 Seconds since 2001. Additionally, hiis World Record for 1, 407 Doubles has remained un-beaten since The WFD World Finals held at The Musician's Institute in January 2002 and was witnessed by drum celebrities Rikki Rocket, Gregg Bissonette, John Blackwell, Mark Craney, Virgil Donati, Myron Grombacher, Doane Perry, Zoro, Richie Garcia, Mark Shulman, Johnny Rabb, Jon 'Bermuda' Swartz, Bryan Hitt, Glenn Sobel, Mike Mangini, and Glenn Noyes! Tim's feat (or feet in this case!) was also captured by XSTV and aired on Fox Sports channel! Tim has also appeared on the Big Breakfast show in Canada and on the Discovery Channel. Finally, Tim holds a Single Foot (Single Pedal) record of 650 Strokes in 60 Seconds, and Tim's hands are also no laughing matter as his Battle of the Hands score is 1,008 Single Strokes in 60 Seconds.

When asked how his involvement in WFD has impacted himself and/or others, Tim comments, “Being in the WFD has allowed me to share my foot techniques with other drummers and has given me the opportunity to perform in front of my drum heroes and be accepted as part of the drum community.
Working with the drumometer pushes you but also helps you clean up your playing It is extremely addictive it and a great drumming accessory for all drummers.”

Tim Waterson...
His passion for music has constantly driven him throughout his musical career. For the past twenty years, Tim has been teaching drums privately in addition to his constant performing and recording in a variety of musical situations.

Tim has developed the 'Ground-Up' approach to drumming. Concentrating on his feet frist, this helped shape his originality and creative force on the drum-kit.

1989 - First place in the Canwood Drumwarz Competion in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

1990 - Authored his first instructional drum video entitled "Drumming Creatively". This video is a good example of Tim's constant search for creative rhythmical possibilities while pushing the envelope to physical possibilities of drumming.

1997 -Authored his second instructional drum video entitled, "Cymbals, Drums and Rhythms". See the review from Drums Etc! Magazine

1999 - Formed the Drumcussion Society of Alberta. Tim's passion and enthusiasm for drums and drumming that inspired him to form the Drumcussion Society, a non-profit society promoting drums and drumming throughout the community by presenting workshops and clinics, by local percussionists.

1999 - Tim assembled a "Drumcan Kit". This 'kit' is made from recyclable materials. He first used it to perform as a solo street performer at Edmonton's world class Fringe Festival, becoming a instant hit at the festival by leaving the crowds with wonderment of how he was able to make music out of that stuff.

2000 - The release of Tim's first solo CD - "The Drumcan Man". Tim started bringing his Drumcan Man Show into local schools, showing children how to make music on everyday household items.

2000 - Tim set World Drumming Record for the fastest feet in June, drumming 1100 beats in 60 seconds.

2001 -Tim set a new record for Speed Drumming, pushing the limits of The Extreme Sport Drumming movement by drumming 1239 beats in 60 secounds playing double strokes. This record was certified by the World's Fastest Drummers (W.F.D.) and recognized by the Guinness Book of Records.
