Default DW 6000 vs 7000

Can someone please explain the pros and cons of these series, they seem pretty similar, but they have a huge price gap.

Thanks,

Default Re: DW 6000 vs 7000

6000s are the lowest-price DW pedals and only have single-chain drive, and no baseplates. 7000s are now called 3000s, they are the next step up, have more adjustments, have baseplates under all pedals, and drive double chains.

In your other thread you ask if a 7000/3000 would be okay for jazz. Yes. Beyond the fact that I believe you can play any style with any pedal for the most part, it has an easy, solid action. I have had very few problems with my 3000 and would recommend it for jobbing drummers on a budget.
