Default help with cymbals/drum kit.

Hi, guys and not guys. I need some help asap.

There is a big life choice I need help with.
I have a choice between a set of 4 Turkish cymbals:
14" hi-hat
16" crash
18" crash
20" ride
excluding stands -which I need- and postage.
with this option, I keep my DB kit which was a cheapie.

The other option is a 5 piece pearl kit, 3 cymbal stands, and 5 different cymbals:
-sabian 13" hi-hat (not sure of the model but it has 3 holes in the top)
-mein 20" ride (not sure of the model)
-wuhan 16" rock crash
-paiste 2002 18" power crash
-solar 12" splash
-unknown 16" crash

both of these options are for roughly the same price.

I haven't had any experience with any of the above equipment. so I am at a loss

which option should I go for?

thanks alot
popcorn

Take the Turkish cymbals. No matter what brand or model they are.

Is this the type of advice you were looking for?

Yeah, I'd go with the Turkish too, although I'd find out more about the Sabian 13" hats too. Perhaps do a separate deal there!

Cheers
