Default Completed Anchor Drum kit

Shawn at Anchor Drums just emailed me a few pics. What do you guys think?
22"x20" virgin kick, 12"x19" rack tom, 16"x16" & 18"x198" floor toms, 7"x14" snare drum.
He is also making me a 10"x9" which I should have in 4 weeks or so.

Never heard of this brand before. The lugs look a bit Sonor-ish but the shells are stunning! What's the official colour name/ type?

Cool drums. I'm not typically a fan of burst, but these look good. A bit vintage-ish.

I really dig the thinner more "straight edge" burst on the kick drum, really stood out for me in every pic!

Now that's what I call a deep floor tom ;) ;) ;)

What shells are these? Anchor's own build or bought in?

I like the burst colour, subtle but rich :)

What looks like some serious tension screw splay on the snare though :(

I am hoping that is just due to angle of pic, I doubt anyone would make that and think it was ok? How would that even happen?

Over all it is a very beautiful kit though, I like the burst.

Yes, sometimes the camera gives that impression with closeup shots, although rarely around the entire periphery of the drum.

Looks cool! Nice badge. Fine lugs, too. I agree they resemble Sonor ones but the long lugs also remind me of Premier.

With bursts I always like them to have smooth transitions and not look like some oversprayed paint A over B. In this regard - and purely subjective - I see some potential for improvement left. I'm sure some folks have opposite views and totally dig the cosmetics as they are.
