Hi guys, first post here.

I want to get a physical metronome for drum practice and i'm on a budget of 30. What is the best metronome for this price? Thanks in advance, Josh

Hi Josh, welcome to the forum.

A physical metronome???...

... you can try a tractor's engine at idle

or a mechanical clock

or the cycle of a tumble dryer

or a passing by train

or a press machine

or alternatively you can buy an analogue or electronic metronome :)

*sorry man, I couldn't resist, too tempting*

I have a Korg MA30 but my understanding is the Boss ones have more features, including a choice of sounds.

Seems like you've run into some good bud, Henri :)

Henri, you forgot the use of Neutron Stars in timing! They rival atomic clocks. In terms of the best naturally-occurring physical metronomes, you've got no choice but to get yourself a Neutron Star.

Electronic or mechanical? If you want a mechanical metronome then the cost will be much higher than even a relatively expensive electronic metronome.

I don't mind if it's electrical or mechanical as long as it is accurate. Josh
