Default get more sounds from your vdrums

hey whats up everybody im new to this forum so i hope this hasn't been covered but i thought i would share a trick with roland v drums. i play mostly electronic stuff so typical organic sounds are not my thing. after getting tired of the stock sounds i started tinkering and found out that detuning snare sounds down like -300 will become a bass drum, cymbals detuned become snares/handclaps, and bass drums tune way up become snares it opened up tons of new drums sounds in my old td6 like i said hope this isn't old news.

As most players don't delve too deep into their modules, it's certyainly news to them, and a good tip to help them explore and exploit the TD brains to their fullest. I've always been a fan of tweaking samples of common drums and sounds in general, just to see what unheard characteristics they possess, and what alternate applications they might have. Pitch up, pitch down, bukild attack on the front, take away the attack, shorten the decay, add distortion... there's hidden gold in ordinary sounding samples!
