I have been gigging a Dixon for almost 14 years now with no repairs or problems.

The mapex pedal listed above is a good choice. Maybe look at a Tama Iron Cobra Jr?

Also, I've got to point this out now. The word is peDal, not peTal - come on man... One is a part of a flower.

Well, when I first posted about Cymbals, I spelled it as Symbols. Tough being an engineer...

What looks interestingly durable, are the Taye double pedals. I saw one on eBay selling for $169 (new) and after seeing their single pedal at the NAMM show, I would say that would be a great investment. Definitely built as well as Tama's Iron Cobra Jr.

http://used.guitarcenter.com/usedgear/index.cfm

I get lots of things used through guitar center at very good prices.

There are always good deals if you are patient. There are pearl eliminator 2002C pedals on there for $125.00 right now. If you don't like them, 30 days to return.
