Default Look who scored a 80's Birch/Cordia

Got a call from a friend today. He dumped this 4pc. Birch/Cordia Artstar.

12,14,16,22

With Power Tower.

I only had time to clean up the 12. It was in Mint about 10 years ago but the Church let the youth get their hands on it and well, you know the rest of the story. Will need a little work but so far it is ok, might need some edge work. Will get it all cleaned up with some photos as soon as i can. $300 bucks, not a bad score at all IMO.

i hope you can get some more pictures. Those would still be nice shells/drums I am sure, even if they have had some abuse, well worth putting some time into restoring them to their glory.

2nd tom cleaned up nice. The top hoop was slightly bent with with one tension rod bent all to hell. Was surprised the shell was still sound and in "round" shape. This wood grain shot doesn't do this drum justice; it's quite a site to see how well these shells were made and finished. The edges are excellent on this 14 but haven't had the chance to put them on glass and check them carefully yet.

Thx Don, it is going to be a labor of love indeed.

Super nice drums! A truly flagship model from Tama.

Nice pickup. More photos please. I'm starting to get a real appreciation for the coolness andquality of early 80s Tama. That's not a good thing for my bank account.
