Default which tama pedal do i go for?

help me choose between

"Tama HP900PSW" that has the cobra coil


"Tama HP900PTW" that don't have the same

what is the difference? any better suggestion than the two i mentioned?

Same thing for all purposes, can't tell whether cobra coils do anything anyways. Look at the speed cobra also, as well as other brands dw etc. Most pedals are the same basic design so just find which one feels best to you.

Yeah, I've done the same thing. I've tried alot of different pedals in my lifetime: Yamaha, Ludwig, DW, Camco, Trick, Axis,...I even loved my Tama Iron Cobra Jr., and still use them (I have three of those). Now I just got the new Tama Iron Cobra Flexi Glide with the strap and I love it. That cobra coil spring thingy, I'm not sure it's doing anything since I don't feel it, but it's not hindering what I do so I'll leave it in place.

I was telling others here how the flexi glide strap pedal gives me my old skool feel of my old strap drive Slingerland Tempo King pedal from 35 years ago with none of the headaches of that old skool technology ;)
