A few things,
1. Its so much easier to get the toms lower and flatter, and bring them closer to the bassdrum without contact.
2. Because of #1, despite me liking to play everything "low" I can have my toms on the lowest level, splashes and bells just above, and big crashes above those, and nothing ever hits
3. no more legs! With the exception of hihat, stand, and FT... Hi hat an snare may be converted to legless soon.
4. Number 1 and 2 mean I have more options for mic mounting for recording.. so my sound has improved too!
