Default My Pearl Reference Kit

Just switched from stands to a rack. Found the rack on Craigs List for 300.00 and it included 5 boom arms and 10 clamps. Was a great deal I couldnt pass up.

10x8, 12x10, 14x12, 16x14 toms.
13x6.5 snare
20x18 kick

K custom fast crashes in 17 and 14 inch
A custom fast crash 16 inch
A custom hats 13 inch
K custom hybrid 19 inch (not crazy about this one. its for sale)
K custom ride 20 inch

This is by far the best sounding drum kit I have ever owned. I have always wanted a DW collectors kit to compare and will actually have one here next week.

Looking forward to finding out if DWs are worth all the hype.

Beautiful set. I own a set of Masterworks, as well as several other quality kits, the Pearls are in a league of their own.

Forget the hype. No drum set is worth anything, if you don't like it. Except if maybe you can flip it, for a profit.
If you like a set, then you figure out if you can afford one. If you don't care for a particular set, end of thought process. Move on to issues that matter more.
Really nice Reference kit, by the way. And I've always liked Pearl racks. I had a DR-100, that I gigged with, for about 15 years. The Icon, an improved version of that.
