Default Can / Should i use this head on my 12 inch snare?

I'm looking for some vintage sounding, do you think this one is a working option for my 12 inch snare? Is there even anything else? It says tom tom head tho but some say theyr ok

I think Daniel Glass uses them, so that should be vintage like.

You could also try Remo Fiberskyns.

On the Aquarian website they are listed under "tom tom/snare heads"

BTW: If you aren't using an older vintage snare, make sure you get the MODERN Vintage drum head. The American Vintage are a bit larger to work on older drums.

I've used the Aquarian Modern Vintages with great success on a 13" maple snare. Very warm sound. Different than a Fiberskyn and more like a cross between a Fiberskyn and a Vintage Ambassador.

One a snare, I'd play a medium head, unless you're ok with replacing it often.

I agree on the Hi-Energy. I have one on my 12" snare...they're not easy to find in 12".
