Default Headphones/headphone amplifiers..

Whats up guys? i need some help on how to get the best quality monitor mix to my headphones. I play in church and i usually play about 10 hours a week. Avioms are amazing but the price range is pretty up there. Right now at our church we use floor monitors and each monitor is controlled by the aux sends from mackie mixer 32/4.. How can i be able to hear myself better? what do you guys run? Thanks!

Why dont those threads help? Get a shure p4hw monitor unit then run the FOH mix into it and that will give you full control right on your hip. Or you can just use the aux sends to send what ever channels you want to the unit or even put the drums in one channel and the FOH in the other then mix it yourself right on your hip. You can use your headphones but I always recommend the shure earbuds with the foam inserts as the stay in place better than headphones and are not as hot and sweaty plus they give better quality sound at lower volumes.
