Default Yamaha SS850, Snare Stand

Hi!

I have a new 12" snare drum and i now need a snarestand for it!

I was thinking to buy a Yamaha SS850, Snare Stand!

Does the 12" snare fit the stand or is the snare to small?

I don't know if that Yamaha stand will do it for you, but most of the Tama Roadpro and Stage Master snare stands will. Tama even has one that will cradle a 10" snare drum. I own two Tama Roadpro stands and they are very adjustable and solidly built. Another alternative is the Pearl S2000 and S1000 stands. The 2000 will go down to a 10" drum and the 1000 will fit a 12". I do own an 800 series Yamaha snare stand, I can't remember the exact model number, but they too have superior hardware.
