Default Roland laptop software?

This is probably a stupid question, but since I'm new to electric drums I'll ask anyway...

Is there anyway to run my kit (TD4sx) thru my laptop and use some sort of software to run it vs. using the factory brain?

Just askin....

I'm not sure on the logistics of the td4 module, but assuming it has some sort of MIDI out, you can plug the brain into your laptop and use it to trigger sounds in a Virtual Instrument environment (i.e. superior drummer or EZDrummer)
