Default Problem with Left Pedal on IC Jr. Doubles

Hey ya'll. So, I tightened the tension on both of my springs up to the highest to see how it felt playing on my doubles for heel-up, and I noticed that on my right pedal, the tension would rebound the pedal quickly back to my foot so I could hit it again soon which is nice. The left side is a nightmare. I actually found that it was moving SLOWER, and therefore when I kicked it down, it didnt even pop up between kicks so I would kick it again while it was still down. Basically, the plate couldn't move up fast enough. is this a faulty pedal or just a poor design by tama? I'm rather disappointed. Makes me want axis pedals even more

Here's the problem. This hole is warped so horrible, that it's about to bust. It causes drag on the pedal. Anyone know where I can get a new part?

That'll involve you finding the part number on the Tama website (I think it's under "Support) and then ordering from an authorized dealer. I had to order IC screws before, and it took FOREVER to get them...but that was 8 years ago. And it was through a Guitar Center. So hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did.
