I just purchased a yamaha electronic set. I want to jam with some friends. What do i need next? Amp? PA system? Any help would be appreciated. This will be the first time playing drums and not knowing if I will like the drums I would like the cheapest set up Thanks in advance for any suggestions I'm 60 years old so I won't be starting a band anytime soon LOL Paddy |

Roland makes products specifically for e-drums.

I own three Roland PM-1 amps. Rated at 60 watts, not only do they handle (are designed to) e-drums, they make excellent guitar, bass, keyboard, or vocal amps. I also own three Roland KC-100 amps. Also rated at 60 watts. Designed for keyboards, they handle e-drums fair ... but guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals .... sweet. Both can be found on eBay ... KC's far more than PM's ... but I've scored all six amps used. More bang for the buck.
