Default Aquarian-Remo counterpart

Hi all! Recently i purchased performance IIs for my toms and was blown away, so now im trying to figure out which drum head would be most like my remo cs coated. I saw the hi energy and from what i can tell from looking at youtube videos it is the closest thing to my current remo head. I like the remo because there are 2 sounds (on the power dot and outside it) so what i really want to know is:
can i get that with the aquarian head?
if not, could i get a power dot from aquarian and stick it on the bottom and have the same effect?
Is the hi energy head the right head to be comparing, or is there a better head i am unaware of?

The Hi-Energy is definitely not the right head to be comparing to. That one is single ply with two dots stacked on top of each other. The right head to be looking at is the texture coated with power dot. It's the closest thing to Remo's CS. From what I've seen the CS has a tad more attack to it, due to a thicker and wider dot. But hey. They're pretty close. :p

The Aquarian equivalent of the Remo remo cs coated is the "texture coated with power dot."

For the last 15 or so years I've been going back and forth between the Remo CS coated and the Aquarian Texture coated with power dot.

They sound very similar, and have the same exact feel and sensitivity. The Aquarian is a bit brighter to my ears, but otherwise, I've always been happy to use either one.

The The Hi-Energy is a completely different head.

But more recently, I've become a complete convert to Aquarian. I've been using their bass drum heads forever, I've been using their snare drum heads on and off for years, I just thought, I'm going for it all, and I'm pretty darn happy to be all Aquarian now.
