I'd like to say that this rig is merely "hot" but no, I think it goes well into "sexy drum" status. Look at that finish! Oh, if only I could have a few thousand lying around. Boy, DW might be in trouble! Kudos on your choices. I bet that thing stokes you to play every time you sit behind it.
cheers.

Beautiful kit. Love the finish. Are you still having kick drum problems? I run Powerstroke3 heads batter on all my kicks and on my 20x14 I have a Powerstroke3 ebony(reso). Kick is wide open with no port. I get a nice tight sound with that combination. For a little more resonance on my larger kicks I run Ambassador ebony (reso) with HOLZ ports.

Woo what a beauty! It's a jazz kit where you can hear the sound from the photo man! I want to have it right now!
I'm a nice guy but for this one I could commit a crime for sure, lol

Wow my feet start to tap when I look at it!

The sizes of the drums are perfectly arranged for pure jazz expression.
I think I don't like my own kit anymore from now on...

Man, everytime I see this kit, I just start to drool. I know I've already posted on it once, but I don't care. I have to tell you again, beautiful drums. Now, if only we could see pictures of you playing this fine musical instrument, then...well, yes...that would be good.

cheers.

That small drums / big cymbals combo is wild. I can't decide if it makes the cymbals look gigantic or the drums look tiny. Maybe a little bit of both.

Back when I was shopping for a kit, a DW 4-piece in this finish was tops on my wish list. So nice. But I ended up with something different.

Anyway, great kit.

That's the kind of kit that can bring a tear to your eye:)

Don't you sometimes just stand beside the kit and look at it?

I do that sometimes with mine, and it's just a pearl export, loool, (but i still love it)...

This just proves in a lot of cases simplicity is beautyful, dw kits really are the shizzle, great choises on kit and the cymbals, hows the k dark thin 15"? iv got a 16" and am very satisfied with the sound, the wuhans are always great cheap choises but they are so good!! the constantinople...well what can i say!!! amazing!!

Yes the k thin dark crash 15'' is a very good cymbal... I'm very happy with it !!!

I'm now looking for another crash a little bit bigger ??? 17, 18 or 19'' !!!! A Zildjian for sure !!!

That is an extremely tasteful cymbal set-up you have there. You cant go wrong with DW either.

NICE KIT. Geez. Never thought A dw would make a good Jazz kit but you proved me wrong. They look and sound amazing. And those cymbals are very nice, I have K's too. But... Isn't your Thin Crash too Dead at 15"? I had a 16 and realized it wasn't versatile enough for jazz. Thoughts? Loved the music you posted too!
