Default Specific Tom sound (Pyro - Kings of leon)

Hey all. I've recently upgraded my old starter impact kit, to a new meridian maple. I love it, it sounds phenomenal. However the band I am currently playing with are wanting to do a cover of "pyro" by kings of leon. No matter how I tune these toms I cannot get the right sound. (The current heads are the stock Remo UT's). What heads should I be going for to get that deep thud from my toms? For those of you unfamiliar with the song, here's a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFp7q-IJqno

Any help will be much appreciated :D

Love the song! nice choice for a cover.

Nathan uses 13",16",18" toms I'm pretty sure.

Buying new heads will be a start because UT aren't really that nice.

Try tuning them fairly low because they sound pretty deep in the song. :)

ps: what sizes are your drums?

I'd go vintage emporers over clear ambassadors...nice warm tone with controlled sustain.
