Default Solo - Singles/Doubles/6 Stroke Rolls

Hey Guys,

Thought i'd share this with you, I've been working on speed and trying to work the six stroke roll around the kit a bit. It's a bit of a wank, but thought i'd share for any feedback.

Let me know your thoughts!

Cheers,

Sounds awesome to me. What type of exercises did you do to get there?

Thanks CC,

To be honest, it's just been years of rudiments on the pad, and watching my technique. The 6 Stroke roll has only just reached that level, which has been a good feeling.

I filmed the video, to use it as a progress report to look back on in a year, to see any improvements, or the opposite.

Thanks for the feedback.

that was impressive! Do you live in a cymbal factory? What is the story on the racks of brass behind you?

Thanks UG, a close friend of mine runs a drum hire place here in Brisbane called The Drum Cartel, the Camco is there as a tester kit for any cymbals people want to hire, we call that area Cymbaland. Check out the below link for more pics, however those pics are quite old. He has around 80 Kits for hire, 150 Snares and a whole heap of cymbals. It's pretty much my paradise... I love hanging out there, and playing all the different kits.

I know that took some effort and time and you should be proud. Displays like that are what make even an old fart like myself continue to play even though I'll never attain that level. Buddy Rich was even young when I first saw him. Keep up the good work.

Hey Grunter, thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it. It's nice to feel the practice pay off, it's a small step towards where I'd like to be.

Thanks again.
