Default Karnivool

Music these days seem to be so mad, with all the auto-tune, and no effort into the song from the artist themselves. But I recently discovered Karnivool, any others here ever heard of them? They put a lot in their music, especially the drums. What do you guys think? Also they sound a bit like Tool, so Danny Carey fans may like Steve Judd's drumming in the songs.

ooooh I love Karnivool!!!

Honestly though, I don't hear how they sound like Tool. The vocalists sound a bit alike here and there, but they sound like two different entities to me.

Holy crap, you can play that stuff?? Steve Judd has this wonderful way of making me lose the 1 (like in the drum "feature" in Set Fire To The Hive).

But yeah, seriously awesome band, check them out if you haven't heard of them yet.

Cool band, I've got their Sound Awake album. Some of the lyrics are a bit weak but the music is cool overall. Agree they have a bit of a Tool vibe, it's subtle.

I've actually met the guys from Karnivool a fair few times, nice blokes,

They play a fair few small gigs around the place, at least they have in the past,

A friends band actually opened for them on one of their national tours
A disquiet mind at therapy with the music.
