Good deal on Gretsch Progressive Jazz RB

Hey all!
I am by no means a drummer, but am a professional guitarist. I have been teaching myself for a little while and through my insatiable desire for more gear, I have come across several options for drums. My first preference was the Gretsch Catalina Club, which can be had for about 1200 at the lowest here in Australia. Then I came across an ad for a complete 60s Gretsch Round Badge Progressive Jazz 4 piece kit for 1200 bucks, the same as the Catalina. Am I right in thinking that this is a fairly sweet deal and that I would be silly not to go for it?
