Default DTX III module or TD12KX of roland's

hi
I have recently decided buying an electric drum kit. So far i have found two kit, one is a Yamaha Dtxtreme 3 and the other is a Roland Td12kx witch I will afford actually. my question is which of their modules have more opportunities for me and can help playing different styles better....... which can get upgrade easier?

This is a pretty vague question.

Both kits will play fine. What are you wanting to upgrade?

The DTX III module is much nicer module than the td-12...some of the advantages include:
  • more editing capability - ability to change effects at each ind. kit, as well as full module effects
  • three zones for all toms and cymbals
  • better click
  • groove check - an added feature used to improve your time
  • song loops much better and also have ability to add or drop drums out of loop mix
  • real drum samples as opposed to synthesis (roland)
  • ability to record your own samples (both drum and cymbal)
  • external drum samples from yamaha and OWD that can be loaded on module
  • other DTX users can share their user kits that they have created (via USB)..I have done this for other DTX III users..

I think adding loops and sample sounds is very important regarding to time changes and progresses in sound engineering and coming effects ..... the other thing is that I have to buy an instrument for almost 10 years of learning and recording .... I'm not that rich to change my e-drum every time a new one comes.... so it's very important for me to be capable to add new things and changes on sound and recordings.
and I liked what Scorch said about adding drum sounds made by others..... this opportunity connects me to all further studios ......
