I picked up a Mackie Onyx Blackbird audio interface yesterday and I can record a full drum set now. What a difference from my old Lexicon Omega. The only thing was I had to buy a firewire interface card, but that was only $30. The sound is crisp and clean and I like the onyx pre's a lot. Another plus is that Sonar no longer has any drop outs, which is even better. Now, I can stop looking at new DAW software and concentrate on playing/writing and recording.
