Default Recieved my Pro-Mark sample sticks!

Pro-Mark sent me some sample sticks to try out after bad sticks I've received in the past.

I'm a 5B player and usually for for the extra length and a rounded tip and Pro-Mark sent me sticks which I'm going to review.

Teddy Campbell (TXSD9W)
Abe Cunninghams (TX916W)
Benny Greb (TX5BGW)
Jimmy Degrasso (TX409W)

and I have to say... Every stick impressed me and I love them all (especially the Teddy Campbells and Abe Cunninghams).

I woke up this morning to be surprised by a package (expected to arrive today!)
I tore the box open right away and first thing I seen was a catalogue and my four pairs of sample sticks. I got right to playing them!

The first pair I tried were the Jimmy Degrasso. I really liked these sticks and sounded great when riding and crashing. However, when playing the snare there were ALOT of overtones and power coming from them. But they're great!

Second pair I tried were the Benny Grebs. They sounded awesome on the ride and snare aswell as everything else but they sounded alittle weird on toms. But again, great sticks!

Third pair were Abe Cunninghams and there wasn't a fault and a real ideal stick for me! These were about 17cm too which was also great! Definitely going to use these alot more.

Last pair were the Teddy Campbells and these were just flawless. The sticks I've been looking for for a REALLY long time. The oval tip made everything sound great and the sound of a rim-shot blew me away! For a lighter stick (and shorter). These were the sticks I've been looking for!

So my top list of sticks at the moment are DEFINITELY Pro-Mark TX916W and TXSD9W's and I hope they're my sticks for a very long time. I could probably use the other two aswell!
Never have I played signature sticks as good as these and I preferred them to the Dave Weckl Evolution sticks I had years ago when I was just starting to learn drums.
+1 for Pro-Mark. My respect for them is at it's greats!

What's your guys ideal sticks?

Vic Firth Buddy Rich sig sticks. Great if you like playing with tree trunks.

That or the Pro Mark Joey Jordison sigs :P (Ya know, the ones with his blood on them). So comfortable to play with for a lighter stick, when I usually use 2B's.

I love the Pro-Mark Billy Ward "The Bulb" stick. These are great all around sticks. The Bulb makes my grip so much more relaxed, even so much that when I play regular sticks I feel a lot more relaxed as well. I normally play Vater 5A's when I'm out of the Billy Ward sticks. Would love to make the complete switch to Pro-Mark though, my only hesitation used to be because I would break their sticks all the time, but the Billy Ward sticks definitely have renewed my hope in the company.
