Default Gretsch tuning rods vintage

Hi all, another rebuild question;

In respect of vintage lugs whereby the the attaching screws are imperial size thread, not metric, does anyone know, a) whether the tuning rods will need to be an old imperial thread? And b) whether 'yes' to a), they are still available to buy?

Hope someone can help.

Pretty sure tension rods have used the same thread (standard) going back several decades.
Should be safe with regular new rods if you need them.
If not, receiver nuts are easy to replace if you have to change things.

In keeping it exactly "correct", if it's a vintage/collector re-build, there are a few vintage parts sources.
Just google vintage drum parts and you should get a bunch.

Good luck!
