Default Crappy double pedal

Hi, I'm looking for a brand of a cheap double bass pedal [under $100].. I have a pearl eliminator but I've never used a double pedal before, so I want to buy a crap one first to practice on. Thanks :-)

If you have a perfectly good one then why would you want a crappy one? Pearl Eliminators are great pedals

look for a used Pearl 902 or Iron Cobra JR, Do not get the SP double pedal, it will fall apart. Maybe a DW 2002 3000 or PDP 402.

+1

These are the two I was thinking about. If you can find a used Elim or IC double for $150 (which you can nowadays) I'm sure you could find a used P902 or ICJR for a hundie or less.

So you did.....my apols. ;-)

It'll have to be ebay mate. The US pricing you see thrown around the forum is just not relevant here (I cry a little everytime I see a quote in USD :-) ). A safe bet is to at least double any quote you see in US dollars....and then add a little bit more for good measure.

100 Aussie dollars isn't gonna buy you a crappy single pedal in these parts (new). I was gonna suggest the Pearl P902 as well.....it retails for between $350 to $400: http://www.allansbillyhyde.com.au/pr..._(Double).aspx , but even used you'll be looking at almost two hundred.

Outside of ebay, see what you can find on a few of the US online retail sites....always double check shipping prices though.

There's a few of us floating around.

Keep an eye on this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PEARL-P20...item564566408b That's the best pedal available anywhere near your price....and it's still early days too.

Otherwise there's these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/QUAD-CHAI...item2562da2718
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PRO-TWIN-...item5d2fbd8bf4
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Double-ba...item3cba8fd741
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-DP-PE...item2c5e5dadf1
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-DOUBL...item45fc2243ac

That's about all Aussie ebay has to offer. God knows what any of 'em are....but they're not likely to be much. Glad I don't need pedals!! :-)
