Default Problem with my EMAD 2

I just received my EMAD 2 and I cannot get the external ring on. I placed it on my 20" ride and it falls short of the 20" diameter...looks like it measures 19 3/4". Is this the correct size or should I make a phone call to musicians friend(supplier)?

You have to tuck the foam piece under the plastic ring. If that doesn't work then i guess you could either contact Evans or MF.

Can both rings be used at the same time?

No. One or the other. It's foam dude, just work it in to the plastic sleeve. What are you trying to do!? haha!

I'm assuming he may also have a giant pillow/blanket inside his bass drum too...

The ring is slightly undersized in order to fit into the sleeve. If you can post a photo, I'll have a better idea of if there's a product issue. Are you using a 20" head?
