Default vex touring pro double pedal problems

I just baught one for my kit and its not playing smoothly. I baught it used and it looks to be in almost new condition. Iveadjusted it a bit and i still dont have it playing right.

I feel likei have to use more effort to get a good sound. I dont know how to adjust it properly so im sure thats a reason. I just dont know where to start or how to find out where the problem is. My foot has to go down all the way each time to get a decent sound and the left pedal is not feeling the same as the right in terms of pressure to push it down. I may not be giving enough info on whats going on so if you can help me or need more information please ask or respond.

Thanks i n advance

Start with this video mate and watch all of the other Vex videos he has on his channel. He shows you how to make it respond better and how to fix niggly little problems.
