Used Iron Cobras, DW 5000s, Eliminators, etc all go for around $150- 175. 200 in excellent condition. Lots to choose from.

Thats what I was thinking was the Iron Cobra double pedal because I'm using the Iron Cobra single pedal now.

As mentioned any of those usual suspects "used" but in good condition is always a good option.

However, the latest DW3000 is very good for the price, if you want something "new". I tried them at the local store and I was very pleased with how they felt and responded.

PDP had a pretty good cheap pedal at GC. Seems pretty solid and feels smooth. Not sure how it would hold up against a lot of wear and tear though.

I paid $225 for my DW7000 a year ago. Want mine for $175? Or trade for two serviceable singles?

Got some music equipment stolen from me recently and was replacing my spare pedal.

I play a DW 5000 single, a fine pedal I never even have to think about.

While shopping, I came across a DW 3000 single pedal for $99.00 USD brand new. (the 5000 was 159.00)

The only difference I could see between the 3000 the 5000 was the footboard (a non issue) and the footboard hinge. The 3000 hinge looks more than up to the task.

The rest of the construction was IDENTICAL.

I ended up buying 2 DW 3000's single pedals for spares.

The reason I am saying this is the 3000 double pedal I saw there looked like a bargain for 200.00.

It is nearly identical to the 5000. If my 5000 ever broke (highly doubtful) I will use the 3000 as my main pedal.
