Default Kaces III KCP-5 crash pad (drum rug)

Has anyone out there used this product? Had good, bad or indifferent results with it?
Reading reviews from Musicians Friend and Guitar Center I'd like to hear from other drummers who currently use this product before I consider purchasing one myself.

Thanks to all who reply.

Default Re: Kaces III KCP-5 crash pad (drum rug)

I use one of these Pearl branded 'crash pad' rugs and it's a really solid but light non-slip mat with a great stop block in front of the kick drum in the front centre of the rug. I use a Pearl Icon rack and find that the footprint of the rack is just right for the size of the rug. When you center the kick drum against the block, the hi hat still has room to sit on the players left of the snare on the rug. On my set up the back left post of the rack tends to sit a little wide of the rug corner, but the rug doesn't move anyway so it isn't an issue about the size. The drum rug folds up into a neat little bag which comes included. Overall it's a great value solution and nothing moves. A recent stage I used this on was am outdoor bandstand with a flagstone floor, the kit stayed put completely.
