Default New studio monitors!

Had to share this pic. Just upgraded my M-Audio monitors to KRK Rokit 5 G2 monitors and spiffed up my little computer studio. Of course, the drums are recorded in another room to my Zoom R16, and then those tracks are dumped into the mac for further manipulation. But man, I had no idea how lethargic my old M-Audio monitors were until I wired in these KRKs! They are not the best, nor the most expensive, but I think my mixes will sound much better now!

Oh man, don't tell me my M-Audio monitors aren't up to snuff.....

(Ok, I know, they're not meant to be the greatest).

Congrats Bo!

I thought my M-Audio DX4's were up to snuff when I got them, but over time the woofers and dome tweeter got punched in and I just got used to how they sounded. I'm sure if I took care of them and didn't allow the ferrets to get up on the desk to push those speakers in I wouldn't have had to upgrade. No animals are gonna touch these guys.

I was totally going to go with new M-Audio's, the AV40s, but these only cost me an additional $100 that I totally didn't have, but the yellow cones are worth it!

Looks great! I can't build any studio space until I move extra kits out of the drum room...and one out of the laundry room...one out of the sunroom, etc. I would love to hear a new mix a/b with your old monitors. Monitors are the ears of the studio after tracks are knocked out.
