Default Drum Lessons :D

Well, this summer I am going to take drum lessons. For about 5 years I have been freeballing it, without any guidance. I'm glad that i'm doing this because it will help me in my future career. I'm also glad i'm starting at 13, rather than a much older age. This will also help me with my chances of getting into this high school I have been really wanting to get into. Even though high school is about a year away...

One thing to do to become better and better at any instrument is widen your variety of music, even if you don't like some bands. I have seen a band live I didn't like but I wanted to play their songs afterwords cause of the style he used help me attack the set in a different way, and with lessons learn to read music notation or tabs, it helps in the long run.

Starting young is a great thing to do, i didn't start until a month before i was 21 :( as i didn't have the finances for it.

You never stop learning, enjoy the ride!

Yea, I have been enjoying it. I have had only one lesson so far, but my teacher is nice and says that I have potential. We're trying to find a song to learn, I was thinking Weezer...
