Default Should i buy a practice pad if i have an E-kit?

Just wondering. I suppose the biggest advantage for me would be that i can play it anywhere, and i want to practice my rudiments. what do you guys think, Is it worth the extra money even if i have an e-kit?

Undoubtedly.

Can't sit with your e-kit on your lap while watching telly now, can you? How else are you gonna drive the wife/parents/house mate spare?

Take a pad off of your ekit. Problem solved.

When travelling, a practice pad will always be an item I have in my suitcase or in my car. Which would you rather have lost/stolen? A gum rubber pad or an expensive electronic pad?

Something that is a possibility as you expand out and travel more.

Don't lose it and don't leave it anywhere it can be stolen. Future problem solved. I kid (slightly).
Every drummer should have a practice pad, especially for travel. For sitting in front of a tv one of your epads will work just the same.
