Default My re-finished Snare!

Hey guys.

Haven't posted here in a good while and wanted to share my little project I started yesterday.

I took the finish off my PDP CX series Blue Onyx Snare and made it into a wood finished drum. I've always wanted one of those. This is my secondary snare now so I don't really use it, but I could stop thinking about how "mass produced" it looks because I really don't like colorful finishes on snares. But any way, here's the outcome. Thanks for checking this out!

P.S. I'm 18 years old and inexperienced in wood work so please be kind :)

Pictures: Not the greatest, but I'll be sure to take better ones soon!

That is how it starts, eventually you will rip apart and re do everything lol.

Hard to tell from the picture, did you put a polyurethane or any type of clear coat on it?
