I've been thinking about a mid-priced drumkit from Sonor, Mapex or Ludwig. atm i got a Yamaha Stage Custom Birch. I don't know if i like the birch, haven't tried anything else. Alot of people like maple. I've seen the Sonor Essential Force s drive with two racktoms and two floortoms. - I kinda like it. Also i've heard about the Mapex Saturn - should be good, never heard or tried it. You guys got any suggestions :) ? They're about 1700 USD here in Denmark, but i can't afford to buy from Ebay since i can't get to look at it first. Even though it's only 1000 USD.... I have to buy new, there's nothing which is used that i seem to like. Either overpriced or too low quality. |

The Ludwig Classic Maples are terrific drums as are the Ludwig Keystones. I think you would be very happy to have either of these kits.

Don't trade your intermediate kit in for another intermediate kit. Instead, look up Highwood Drums in the UK or Adoro Drums in Deutschland.
For a similar price as an intermediate big-name brand kit, you could be getting yourself a pro-quality kit tailored just for you. http://www.highwooddrums.co.uk/ http://www.adoro-drums.de/ |
