Default Using and calibrating Tama Tension Watch!

So I just bought this little gadget. I read the manual and it says to calibrate it you put it on a mirrir and then calibrate the pointer and zero on the measure scale. But then I have to turn it like to the 10 o' clock on the hour. Isn't zero supposed to be like on the 12 o clock all the time. The manual is really not very precise on how to use this thing. Can someone give me some tips or links? Thanks

those things are the most useless pieces of garbage ever released to the public by a drum company......

sorry my friend you wasted your money.......

they are an unnecessary pain in the ass and a huge waste of time......

my advice.....return it......seriously....

buy yourself an Evans torque drum key and use your ear

I literally threw my tension watch against the wall.......they should take that thing off the market......its absolutely pointless

this is obviously just my opinion......but I was a fool and bought one.....used it.....wasted hours of my life calibrating and staring at this little meter....ugh.....and got no good results......

Try this Sim. It's for a drumdial specifically, but it's the same thing as Tama's tension watch.

And I'd have to agree with moon, They're kind of useless. Your better off tuning with your ears.
